About Solara Safaris
Solara plans wildlife safaris in places where the animal is genuinely there, at the time of year it behaves as you hope, with guides who recognise individual animals rather than species.
Expert Guidance
Local specialists who know the terrain and the animals in it, and plan the day around behaviour.
Small Groups
Small groups, or your own party alone. Small enough to change plan when the wildlife does.

Big Cat Safaris
Leopard, jaguar, tiger and snow leopard, in the places and seasons where they are most reliably found.
Primate Safaris
Gorillas and chimpanzees on foot, in forest where habituated families are used to people at close range.
Rare Safaris
Species that are hard to reach and harder to see, in landscapes with very few other visitors.
Solara Conservation Foundation
Solara supports the mission of the Solara Conservation Foundation (in formation) — an independent initiative dedicated to wildlife protection and habitat preservation in the regions where we travel.
